The Westview Project Jazz Trio
The Westview Project is a Rochester-based jazz trio with Jeff Lawlis on piano, Tim Larson on acoustic bass and Jim Blease on drums. The band formed in late 2006, bound by a mutual interest in jazz from the classic period of the late 50’s to mid-60’s. After a few months of rehearsing the band played at the Flat Iron Café in early 2007. Since then The Westview Project has been playing regularly at Bistro 135, The Little Theater Cafe, Pane Vino Ristorante, Pomodoro Grill and Wine Bar, Brio Bistro, Lovin’ Cup and other local venues. They have also played for events at the Memorial Art Gallery, the Clothesline Arts Festival and the Corn Hill Arts Festival. more ...
